iGloo App AI Review: I Put the AI Community Builder to Work — Here’s What Happened

If you have ever tried to build an online community from scratch you already know how quickly things can become complicated.

You need a place for members to communicate. You need content. You may want courses. You need events. You need a way to welcome new members. You may even want points and rewards to keep people active.

Then there is the actual work of putting everything together.

That was one of the main reasons I wanted to try iGloo.

I wanted to see whether an AI assisted community builder could actually make this process easier in real use or whether it would just be another tool that looks impressive until you start working with it.

So I bought iGloo and put it to work myself.

After using it and going through the setup process I found that iGloo is quite different from the typical community platform.

The biggest difference is not simply that it has AI.

The interesting part is how the connected AI can help you create and update different parts of the community while you remain in control of what actually gets published.

And there was one part of iGloo that I found especially interesting for anyone who works with clients.

I will explain that later.

My iGloo App AI Review After Using It

Before using iGloo I had the same basic problem that many community builders have.

The idea of creating a community is easy.

Actually organizing everything is not.

You have to think about the community structure. You have to organize posts and content. You may need courses and lessons. You need a way for people to communicate. You may want events. You also need a decent welcome experience.

When all of those pieces are handled separately the work starts adding up.

What I liked about iGloo is that it brings those pieces together instead of making the community feel like a collection of unrelated tools.

The main areas include the community feed. Courses. Events. Members. Chat. Joining questions. Rewards and the member experience.

That gave me a much more organized place to work.

But the part I really wanted to test was the AI workflow.

What Happened When I Started Building With iGloo

This was where iGloo became more interesting to me.

Instead of starting with an empty community and manually creating every piece I could provide a brief and use a compatible AI client such as Claude or ChatGPT through the supported MCP workflow.

The idea is simple.

I explain what I want the community to look like and what it is supposed to do.

The connected AI can then help assemble supported parts of that community.

That can include things such as courses. Modules. Lessons. Posts. Events. Joining questions and rewards.

Of course this does not mean I can simply type one sentence and walk away.

I still need to check the output.

That part is important.

AI can help with the heavy lifting but I am still the person responsible for deciding what goes live.

I check the wording. I replace anything that needs changing. I adjust the structure. I add branding where necessary and then decide what should actually be published.

For me that is a much more practical approach than expecting AI to magically run everything.

The Community Features I Actually Found Useful

Once I started working inside iGloo the first thing I noticed was that the platform covers much more than just a basic discussion feed.

Community Feed

The community feed gives members a place to interact and have conversations.

Posts and replies can be organized so the community does not become one giant stream of random conversations.

That matters when you expect the number of members or discussions to grow.

Courses And Lessons

You can create courses and organize them into modules and lessons.

You can also use drip schedules when you want members to receive content progressively rather than seeing everything immediately.

I liked this because it means the community can also become a structured learning environment.

One thing worth knowing is that iGloo is not intended to replace a dedicated video hosting service. Videos can be embedded rather than treated as native video files hosted inside the platform.

Events

Events are another useful part of the platform.

You can create one time or repeating events and give members a way to RSVP.

That could be useful for communities that run weekly calls. Training sessions. Workshops. Q&A sessions or other recurring activities.

Members And Chat

The member area gives people a place to see other members and interact with them.

Direct conversations are also supported.

This is important because a community should not feel like a website where people only consume content.

The interaction between members is usually what makes a community valuable.

Rewards And Progress

iGloo also has a gamification system called Expedition.

It uses points. Levels and rewards to encourage member participation.

I found this interesting because engagement is one of the hardest parts of running a community.

Getting someone to join is one thing.

Getting them to come back and participate is another.

Having a progress and reward system gives the community another way to encourage activity.

The AI Powers Are What Make iGloo Different

This is probably the part you are most interested in if you searched for an iGloo App AI Review.

The connected AI can work with a number of supported iGloo functions.

For example it can help find communities and create a community.

It can work with posts and replies.

It can find unanswered comments and help draft responses.

It can work with conversations and member related tasks.

It can help schedule posts.

It can help with courses and lessons.

It can create modules and lessons.

It can work with drip schedules.

It can publish or unpublish courses.

It can also work with events and repeating events.

Then there are the setup and automation related features.

You can work with joining questions. Reward levels. New member webhooks and community tab names.

This is where I started seeing the real value.

Instead of thinking about AI as a chatbot that simply answers questions I started looking at it as an assistant that can help me perform actual community building tasks.

That is a much more useful way to think about the iGloo AI workflow.

My Biggest Surprise About iGloo

The biggest surprise for me was not the number of features.

It was the commercial rights angle.

Most community platforms are built around the idea that you create a community for yourself and then pay for another account or license when you want to build something for another customer.

iGloo takes a different approach with its Commercial Rights option.

With the appropriate commercial license you can build communities for clients instead of treating every new community as another individual software purchase.

There is an important limitation here.

The communities can support up to 250 members each and retain iGloo branding under the commercial rights offer.

So I would not describe this as unlimited members.

That distinction matters.

But if you are an agency owner. Freelancer. Consultant or affiliate marketer who wants to create communities for different customers then the ability to build unlimited client communities can be a significant advantage.

This was one of the strongest parts of the offer from my perspective.

How I See iGloo Solving A Common Problem

Before using a platform like this the process can become messy very quickly.

You might have one tool for your community.

Another tool for your course.

Another tool for events.

Another place for conversations.

Another system for automation.

Then you have to connect everything and make sure the member experience makes sense.

iGloo brings many of these functions into one environment.

The AI layer then gives you another way to work with the platform.

Instead of manually clicking through every part of the setup you can use a compatible AI client to help assemble supported pieces.

For me this made the building process feel much less repetitive.

The important thing is that I did not treat the AI output as something that should automatically be published.

I used it as a starting point.

That distinction makes a big difference.

What You Still Need To Do Yourself

I want to be clear about this because some AI software reviews make everything sound completely automatic.

iGloo is not that.

You still need to provide the instructions.

You need to check what the AI creates.

You need to replace placeholders.

You need to make sure the information is accurate.

You need to add or adjust your branding.

You need to decide which content should be published.

You also need to handle things such as brand images. Category setup. Privacy choices and other manual configuration where required.

In other words iGloo can help you build faster but you are still the person running the project.

And honestly I prefer that approach.

I would rather have AI do the repetitive work while I keep control over the final result.

iGloo Pricing

The entry level iGloo App AI offer is positioned at $27.

The Commercial Rights option is $37.

There are also additional upgrades available if you want more advanced features.

iGloo App PRO is offered at $67 and adds things such as brand controls. Custom domain functionality. Premium design features and growth training.

There is also Command Center at $195 which is a separate iGloo AI offering based around prepaid credits.

The Agency Suite is $295 and is aimed more toward people who want additional client presentation and agency resources.

There is also a Client Finder Pack offered separately.

The important thing is that you do not need to buy every upgrade simply to understand the core iGloo concept.

The right option depends on whether you are building communities for yourself or want to use the platform commercially.

Also remember that third party services such as AI clients. Automation platforms. Email services and cart platforms can have their own pricing.

Who I Think Should Use iGloo

After actually using the platform I can see several types of people getting value from it.

If you are building your own paid community iGloo is worth looking at.

If you are creating an educational community with courses and lessons it also makes sense.

If you run workshops or recurring events the event functionality can be useful.

If you are an agency or freelancer building communities for clients the Commercial Rights angle becomes even more interesting.

And if you like using AI to speed up repetitive work the connected AI workflow is probably the feature you will want to explore first.

I would not recommend buying it simply because the word AI appears in the name.

The value comes from what you can actually do with the combination of the community platform and supported AI actions.

What I Would Not Expect From iGloo

There are a few things I would not expect this software to do.

I would not expect guaranteed customers.

I would not expect guaranteed leads.

I would not expect guaranteed sales or income.

I would not expect AI to build a completely finished business without my involvement.

I would not assume that every plan provides unlimited members.

I would not assume that an iGloo purchase automatically includes Claude or ChatGPT.

I also would not buy it expecting native video hosting. A native mobile app. A built in autoresponder. Bulk CSV member importing or done for you migration unless those features are specifically provided by the applicable offer.

Those expectations are important because they make it easier to judge the product for what it actually is.

My Final iGloo App AI Review

So would I recommend iGloo?

For me the answer is yes.

I bought it. I used it. And the part that stood out was that the AI functionality was connected to actual community building tasks rather than being another chatbot sitting beside the software.

I could use AI to help assemble supported parts of the community.

Then I could review everything and make the final decisions myself.

That workflow worked well for the way I wanted to build.

I also think the Commercial Rights option makes iGloo more interesting for people who want to create communities for clients.

At the same time I would not describe iGloo as a magic button.

You still need to provide direction.

You still need to check the work.

You still need to customize the community.

And you still need to put effort into giving members a reason to join and stay active.

But if your main problem is that building and managing an online community takes too much repetitive work then iGloo can make that process considerably easier.

That is ultimately why I would consider it.

Not because it has AI written across the sales message.

But because the AI can actually help with parts of the work I needed to do.
